Greenbrier County Homeland Security Looking To Hire A Communication’s Technician

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency, a Division of the Greenbrier County Commission, will immediately be accepting applications for the position of Communication’s Technician I.

Job description:

The Communication’s Technician performs highly skilled technical work and serves as a technical expert in the area of Greenbrier County’s UHF Radio Systems and the Statewide Interoperable Radio Network. The position provides electronic expertise for the Greenbrier County UHF communications system, digital microwave, and associated electronic equipment. The incumbent provides system planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the County’s UHF radio system infrastructure, Statewide Interoperable Radio Network and the Greenbrier County’s 911 Center’s Consoles.

The Communication’s Technician reports directly to the Greenbrier County Director of Homeland Security & Emergency Management. Starting salary is $14.50 per hour ($30,000 per year).
