The Lady Bobcats are one of four area teams hosting a regional this week, along with Woodrow Wilson, PikeView (vs. Wyoming East), and Westside (vs. Bluefield). In addition, Greenbrier East and Greenbrier West will have chances to win on the road and clinch a berth in the state tournament.
Summers County has hosted a regional every year since 2017, having made four straight state tournament appearances. They’re aware of the significance of the game, but they’re also confident they can win on Wednesday.
