Gear Up Southern West Virginia will be making stops in Mercer, Monroe, Summers, Raleigh, and Wyoming County this fall to help connect parents and students with resources to help them prepare for college.
Opportunities like college campus visits and summer camps will be available.
The workshops will happen between six and eight p.m. at each stop. Dinner and supervised activities will be provided for each student.
The scheduled stops are as follows:
- Wyoming County – Larry Joe Harless Community Center and One Voice One Cup- Sept. 25
- Mercer County – The Loft at 1123 (Princeton) – Sept. 26
- Summers County – McCreery Hotel (Hinton) – Sept. 27
- Monroe County – Lindside Methodist Church Social Hall – Oct. 3
- Raleigh County – Erma Byrd Higher Education Center (Beaver) – Oct. 4
