Frosty Night Ahead; Late Warming Trend Expected

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: Retreating low pressure and incoming high pressure will ensure temperatures return to the 70s. High school football games on Friday will be smooth sailing with clear skies and temperatures dropping into the upper 50s.

WEEKEND: A cold front will bring rain and wind Saturday evening followed by a transition to colder temperatures with snow showers above 4,000 feet in Pocahontas County Sunday evening through Tuesday. Wind gusts of 30-35 mph are expected.
