ACTIVE Southern West Virginia will be holding a stand-up paddleboard demo day this week.
This event is free to the public and will be held on June 6th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
Active Southern West Virginia will be providing all of the equipment and instruction needed to try
this activity.
No reservation is required and participants will be given 20-30 minutes on the paddleboards depending
on the crowd size.
Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and all participants must sign
a waiver before trying this activity. This is an event for all skill levels.
“It is open to every skill level and it is great if somebody has experience on a paddleboard, or some of our other activities, and have a family member or a friend that they have been trying to talk into participating,” said Executive Director Melanie Seiler.
