Four killed, several injured in crash in Jackson County, Ohio

JACKSON COUNTY, OHIO (WCHS/WVAH) — Four people are dead after a three-vehicle crash in Jackson County, Ohio.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said four people were killed and several others were injured in the crash that involved two cars and a tractor-trailer.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday night just east of the A&A Truck Stop on Route 35 near Dixon Run Road between Jackson and Rio Grande in Jackson County.

Route 35 is currently shut down in the area of milepost 20 and it is expected to be shut down for several hours.

Troopers have set up a detour route. For drivers heading into Jackson, they can take State Route 279 to State Route 93 that will take them into Jackson where they can get back on Route 35.
