The former secretary and treasurer of a labor union in Fayette County pleaded guilty to stealing money from the union.
Jason Todd Weaver, from Mount Hope, admitted to writing himself a checks for more than three thousand dollars from the the bank account of Local Union 1509, a local union of the American Postal Workers Union.
Weaver wrote the checks between April 25, 2016, and October 29, 2021.
He will be sentenced next February.
