Flood damaged White Sulphur Springs McDonald's reopening with new technology

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (NEWS RELEASE) – New technology, modern decor and table service creating a modern guest experience will be featured at the grand reopening of McDonald’s in White Sulphur Springs. Nearly 14 months after the June 2016 flood, McDonald’s local owner/operators, the Kiliany family, look forward to welcoming guests back through the doors of the Harts Run restaurant.

Doors open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8. The first 100 customers inside the restaurant will receive a coupon good for one free Big Mac or Egg McMuffin sandwich each week for a year. Customers must be 16 or older to receive the coupon.

As part of the grand opening festivities, McDonald’s will be taking donations for Main Street White Sulphur Springs, and will match customer donations up to $1,500.

Ed Kiliany, local McDonald’s owner/operator, invites guests to experience updates to the restaurant, in an effort to showcase a new level of choice, engagement and service. McDonald’s owner/operators and the restaurant team in White Sulphur Springs are placing a higher emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with new technology and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. This new restaurant model has been successfully rolled out in more than 2,600 restaurants globally and, as of May 2017, 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants nationally. McDonald’s is putting more choice and control in the hands of guests by improving how they order, what they order, how they pay and how they are served.
