STOVER— As we first posted on Facebook from outside the burning house, five fire crews were called to a house fire in Stover on Monday night.
Officials on scene tell WOAY that the call came in around 8:50pm. They say the homeowners were remodeling the house and not staying there, therefore no one was in the home when it caught fire. They are still unsure of the cause.
Offices say Coal River, Trap Hill, Lester, Sophia Area, and Clear Creek Fire Departments all responded.
WOAY was the only station on scene. Stick with Newswatch online and on air as we learn more.
