Greenbrier County authorities are investigating after a fatal fire in Lewisburg.
The state fire marshal’s office reports a woman was found dead in a burning home on Lilac Lane on Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported around 11:30 am, and the cause remains unknown as the investigation continues.
The victim’s body has been transported to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsy and identification.
