Fayetteville’s New Roots Community Farm earns T-Mobile Hometown Grant

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)-Some big news for Fayetteville! 

They’re one of 25 towns nationwide to earn a Hometown Grant from T-Mobile.    

The grants are part of T-Mobile’s commitment to rural America, which will provide $25 million for community development projects in rural areas through 2026.  

New Roots Community Farm received $47,706 in funding to build an outdoor pavilion to serve as a year-round gathering place for community events.  

To date, T-Mobile’s hometown grants program has given over $16 million to 375 communities in 48 states and Puerto Rico.
