FAYETTE CO., WV (NEWS RELEASE) – The first Fayetteville Farm Day will be Saturday, August 26th and will be held in Janutolo Park that is located just behind the Fayetteville Convention and Visitors Bureau at 310 North Court Street, and operates from 8:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Farm Day will feature many of our local farms in the area. Meet local farmers; enjoy farm demonstrations, crafts, and fun activities for the kids. Learn about bee keeping, watch fiber get spun into wool, and experience the diversity of farms you can find here in Fayetteville!
This is an add-on event to the Fayette County Farmers Market that operates every Saturday from 7:30-11:30 a.m. May through October.
According to Fayetteville Convention and Visitor Bureau Events Manager Tabitha Stover, “Fayetteville Farm day a special event where you can learn where your food comes from by meeting local farmers and joining in on fun activities. We invite you to spend your morning at the Farmers Market located in our parking lot. You can then just walk to Janutolo Park right behind our office to check out Fayetteville Farm Day fun.”
