Fayette County Woman Charged With Grand Larceny

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County woman is in Southern Regional Jail after being arrested and charged with Grand Larceny.

According to the criminal complaint associated with the incident, a Fayette County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a call in Ansted Sunday evening regarding a stolen vehicle. The witness reportedly heard the suspect and another male in a dispute. Several minutes later, the witness heard his vehicle going down the driveway and west on US Route 60.

An hour after the deputy first received the call, a Smithers Police officer reportedly observed the stolen vehicle traveling west on Route 60 and was able to identify the suspect.

Christin Taylor is charged with Grand Larceny and Driving Revoked. She is in Southern Regional Jail on a $7,500 bail.
