Fayette County Water Project Receives 535 Thousand Dollar Grant

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)  – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Page-Kincaid Public Service District has received a $535,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development program to replace sewer equipment.

The grant will be used to upgrade the Page-Kincaid Public Service District’s water service to Fayette County. The project will replace the plant’s mechanical equipment, which is 35 years old and approaching the end of its useful service life.

“This project will improve the quality of life for residents. Access to safe, reliable municipal water will help improve the quality of life for residents and attract new industries and development. I offer my congratulations to the Page-Kincaid PSD on receiving this important grant and will continue to fight for infrastructure investments across West Virginia,” Rep. Jenkins said.
