Fayette County man arrested for strangling a person

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man is facing serious charges following a domestic incident.

According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, on Monday evening, The Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Mount Carbon man on charges related to a domestic incident. The Deputies were dispatched to a call on Armstrong Creek Road, where the suspect allegedly kicked in the door of the home, strangled a person in the house, and fled the scene. Deputies located the suspect shortly after at a relative’s residence.

41-year-old Adam Jones has been charged with Burglary, Strangulation and Domestic Battery. He will now await court proceedings.
