Fayette County Man Arrested For Gun Shots During A Domestic Disturbance

MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (WOAY)-  A domestic disturbance involving gun shots leads to a man’s arrest in Meadow Bridge.

 

Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding this incident:

Wednesday night, deputies were dispatched to a domestic situation in Meadow Bridge by the Fayette County 911 Center. Deputies were advised, while en route, that the male party involved may have discharged a firearm in the home as the female party fled for safety to a neighbor’s home. When Deputies arrived, the male party was secured without incident. In the home a handgun was located with three spent shell casings. Investigators were also able to find what appeared to be a bullet hole in a door.

 

David C. Hughes, 51 of Meadow Bridge, was arrested and charged with three felony counts of Wanton Endangerment, and one count of Domestic Assault.

 

He was transported to the Southern Regional Jail to await arraignment. Neither party was injured during this incident.
