Fayette County Man Arrested For Choking, Headbutting His Wife, And Threatening To Kill Her

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man has been arrested on domestic and gun charges.

Andrew T. Hicks, 31 of Edmond,  was arrested this morning on warrants obtained following a domestic incident involving his wife. The complaint alleges that Mr.  Hicks had shoved her down, choked and headbutted her causing injuries. The complaint further alleges that Mr. Hicks brandished a handgun on her while traveling in a vehicle when she attempted to get out, and threatened to kill her if she continued to do so.

Hicks was charged with Domestic Battery and Brandishing a Deadly Weapon.  He was unable to post the $25,000 cash bond set by the Fayette County Magistrate’s Office at the time of his arraignment.
