Fayette County Man Arrested For Breaking Into Hospital

MONTGOMERY, WV (WOAY) – One man is in jail after entering Montgomery General Hospital with intent to steal.

According to a criminal complaint, On Sunday, December 9th, 2018, Police received a call regarding an incident of a white male running through the Montgomery General Hospital.

John Selbe had entered the hospital without permission on several occasions with the intent to commit larceny of goods, including, food, drinks, and clothing.

Selbe was seen on surveillance video leaving the hospital with a large box of clothing leaving.

Selbe was charged with petit larceny, obstructing, and breaking and entering. He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 12,500 dollar bond.
