Fayette County Man Arrested For Assaulting Mother By Throwing Ranch & Celery At Her

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man is in jail for assaulting his mother and destroying property.

According to court documents, Joshua Johnson, began to cuss his mom, to which she asked him to leave.  Mr Johnson broke the refrigerator drawer and started chopping up celery.  Mr. Johnson then hit the wall while cussing her.  He then slung a knife that imbedded in a kitchen cabinet door.  While she was walking away, Johnson threw a bottle of ranch dressing at her. Johnson then threw celery at her and struck her in the back.

Johnson is charged with destruction of property and domestic assault.
