Fayette County man arrested after burglarizing elderly

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayetteville man has been arrested for burglarizing the homes of two elderly people. Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding this incident.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two separate burglary incidents in the month of May, in which the individual victims were 84 and 99 years old. Both burglaries occurred near each other on Gatewood Road near Oak Hill.  Deputies were able to obtain felony warrants on 46 year old Michael Masesie of Oak Hill for two counts of Burglary. Additional charges may be forthcoming for Masesie as the investigation continues, as well as potential co-defendants.
