Fayette County Humane Society to host adoption event on June 15 amid code red status

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)—The Fayette County Humane Society announces that the shelter is over capacity and at code red.

The humane society is hosting an adoption event on Saturday, June 15, to find forever homes for almost 100 dogs currently in its care and free up space in the shelter for other animals in need.

Adoption fees for dogs will be $1.

Each adoption includes vaccines, dewormers, flea and tick prevention, and a spay and neuter voucher.

The humane society says 45 of their dogs’ adoption fees have been sponsored, and they are free to adopt.
