Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)- The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS) announces the facility will be closed until September 17.
According to a Facebook post from the shelter, one of the puppies has tested positive for a virus.
FCHS will spend the next few days enacting safety measures to eliminate the virus and keep other animals safe.
The shelter will still accept calls and messages via Facebook.
