FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Emergency Management officials are actively preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Florence beginning Thursday, September 13, 2018.
Management official’s are in constant communication with WV Division of Homeland Security, Emergency Management, and local partners. In the meantime, to assist with preparations, they recommend that people in low-lying, flood prone areas to stay vigilant with the weather forecast.
Make arrangements as you feel necessary to protect life and property. Please secure all loose items outside your residence, have your 72 hour storm kit ready.
