Fayette County Deputies Looking For Suspect Involving A Break-In And Credit Card Theft

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a vehicle break-in and stolen credit card usage.

Sheriff Mike Fridley says, this afternoon Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Cotton Hill area of Fayette County regarding a vehicle break-in. The victim’s vehicle had a broken window and items stolen from inside.  The victims discovered that a credit card stolen from inside the car was used at the Marathon store in Ansted, and the Gamestop and Lowes in Fayetteville.  The value of stolen items and vehicle damage exceeded $1,000.

Security footage shows a white male,  approximately 40 years of age,  5’10” in height.  He was wearing a blue hat and had light facial hair.  If you have any information regarding the identity of the person(s) involved,  please contact the FCSD as listed below.
