Fayette County Couple Arrested For Stealing Tools And A 2007 Kawasaki UTV

MONTGOMERY, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County Couple was arrested and facing charges of grand larceny and entering without breaking for stolen equipment.

On May, 18, 2018, Bobbie Jean Boone, of Fayetteville, told Charles R. Hager, that she was aware that there were unlocked doors at the KVS maintenance property in Montgomery, WV and that she had been inside and previously taken items for inside.  Boone advised him that there were some items inside that she wanted and asked if he would go with her to get them.

Both Boone and Hager rode a KRT bus to Montgomery, WV and went to the property.

Once at the property, Boone and Hager entered the property through an unlocked door and took several items to include several power and hand tools that did not belong to them valued at approximately 4700.00 dollars.  They also took a 2017 Kawasaki 4X4 side by side UTV valued at approximately $6999.00.

Hager told deputies that he helped the defendant carry some of the tools to her grandmother’s house down the street.

Boone is charged with Entering without breaking and Grand Larceny and is being held in the southern Regional Jail under a 25,000 dollar bond.

Hager is under a 10,000 dollar bond.
