FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Fayette Connected, an online resource to connect volunteers with opportunities, is now collecting donations for nursing homes.
Volunteer Coordinator Staci Boggs says she reached out to Fayette County nursing homes to better understand their needs right now.
“I’m going to be collecting coloring books, word searches, pens, crayons. They are playing a lot of games with the residents, and so just prizes that they could win by playing those games,” Boggs said.
Boggs says she will be the one collecting the items safely, and if you would like to donate, head over to Fayette Connected’s Facebook page.
