WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today and tomorrow will be nice, calm days to end off the work week. However, we will see some rain and even possible thunderstorms for Easter weekend. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:
The winds have died down and the sun will be out as temperatures will climb into the 60s today and the 70s tomorrow. Clouds will fluctuate through the rest of the week, with more tonight and then diminishing tomorrow. Otherwise, the weather is looking flawless as we end the work week.
The next risk for bad weather will be on Saturday. While the front is still slated to miss us to the north, we may see some thunderstorm activity across the northern parts of the region. There is a possibility the we see an expansion of marginal severe risk into our area, though only a small chance. Here’s the severe weather outlook for Saturday:
Easter Sunday will be a bit better in terms for storms, though the ground might be damp and more isolated showers will come through the area before daybreak and later in the afternoon during the holiday. The rain will continue into Monday as well as the next frontal system comes through the area.
Tuesday will finally give us some relief from the rain as high pressure comes through the area to help dry us out. The dry conditions will continue into the middle of the week next week, as more sunny and warm conditions return. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
