Ex-Valley HS football coach gets 5 years probation for selling drugs

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A former Valley High School football coach and teacher was sentenced to five years of probation and 120 hours of community service Monday on drug distribution charges.

Larry McCommack II pleaded guilty in December to selling Subutex, a drug developed for opiate addiction treatment. He also sold the drug to a confidential informant earlier that month.

McCommack also can’t be in the towns of Smithers or Montgomery while on probation.  He sold the drugs in those two towns.
