Evan Jenkins Officially Sworn In To WV Supreme Court Of Appeals

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY)-Evan Jenkins has officially taking office after Governor Jim Justice appointed him in August to temporarily fill the seat left open by the resignation of former justice Robin Davis.

Legal challenges were filed against Jenkins’ eligibility for the November ballot, but the state supreme court made up of appointed justices, dismissed the petition.

Jenkins resigned from his seat in congress in the third district and it will remain empty until January when the next term of congress begins.
