Huntington, WV (WOAY) – The Herd hosted Southern Miss for an emotional senior night on Saturday. Both teams went into the game with a 7-4 season. The Herd missed a crucial field goal that cost them the game. Southern Miss clinched their road win 28-27 on Marshall’s senior night. Marshall finished their season 7-5 and will be heading to a bowl game in December.
