Emergency Services Respond to Smoke in Nursing Home

LINDSIDE, W.Va. (WOAY) According to Monroe County Dispatch,  smoke from an air conditioner in a nursing home prompted 911 calls.

Around 3:13 pm, Peterstown and Lindside volunteer firefighters responded to the Springfield Nursing Home as a precautionary measure. It was later determined that the smoke came from a malfunctioning air conditioning unit.

No fire or injuries were reported.
