WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following another morning with frost, Tuesday will bring a warm, breezy and dry pattern, but changes are on the way.
OVERALL SYNOPSIS: Wyoming and McDowell Counties are under a frost advisory but the remainder of the region will also see a touch of frost overnight thanks to near freezing temperatures. Remember to bring potted plants inside or cover them with a blanket to avoid cold weather damage. Relative humidity will drop, winds will gust to 30 mph and the wildfire risk will be elevated Tuesday afternoon.
About 0.30″ of rain is expected Wednesday as a cold front pushes through, but the sky will clear in the afternoon. Another round of frost is likely early Thursday. A shower or thunderstorm is likely overnight Friday before a much warmer pattern returns for the weekend.
The biggest pressure drop will be on Wednesday morning, so expect additional aches if you suffer from arthritis Tuesday into early Wednesday before the atmospheric pressure rebounds!
