Early Voting Ends Saturday, November 3rd!

WEST VIRGINIA (WOAY)- Secretary of State Mac Warner is reminding all West Virginians that today, November 3rd is the last day to early vote.


Polls will close this evening for early voting at 5:00 p.m.


“I encourage everyone to get out and exercise their right to vote,” Secretary Warner said. “For those who don’t early vote, I urge you to make your voices heard by casting a ballot on Election Day.”


Secretary Warner also reminds West Virginians to bring one valid form of identification with them when they vote.


Acceptable identification includes:

Non-photo ID:

Voter registration card

Medicare or Social Security card

Birth certificate

WV hunting or fishing license


WV TANF program ID card

WV Medicaid ID card

Bank or debit card

Utility bill or bank statement issued within six months of the date of the election

Health insurance card issued to the voter

Photo ID:

Document issued by the state of WV or U.S. government containing voter’s name, including a WV driver’s license, passport, U.S. or WV government employee ID or military ID

Driver’s license issued by another state

Student ID card

A concealed carry (pistol/revolver) permit


Polls on Tuesday, November 6th will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and make sure to tune into WOAY online and on-air for all up to the minute coverage on the midterm election
