Early Morning Accident In Lewisburg Caused A Motorcycle Fire

LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – Emergency crews rushed to the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle fire early Sunday morning.

On Sunday, June 10th,  at around 4 am,  Lewisburg Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

While responding PD advised that the motorcycle was on fire, PD officers and Deputies used an extinguisher to knock the fire down. Once the fire department arrived they pulled pre-connect and extinguished the remaining fire and cooled the bike down.

Drivers were checked at scene by Fairlea EMS, and the both drivers left in the custody of law enforcement.

The crash occurred on E. Washington St. just west of Holt Ln.
