DUI Checkpoint In Bradley

Carl D. Walsh/Staff Photographer : A sign warns motorists of a Regional Impaired Driving Enforecement team (RIDE) sobriety check point on Rt. 1 in Brunswick on Friday, August 16 2013.

The Raleigh County Sheriff’s office wants to make sure you are safe out there on the roads, so they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.

It is taking place on Saturday from 6pm to midnight.

The Register Herald reports that the checkpoint will be on route 16 in Bradley.

Officials say that the grant for the checkpoint is funded by West Virginia Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention.

They are warning that if you drink and drive, you will go to jail.
