Dry Weather Continues; Beneficial Rain From Beryl?

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following a gorgeous Saturday, tolerable humidity is expected on Sunday.

Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill has the latest:

TEMPERATURES/COMFORT LEVEL: Comfortable humidity is expected again Sunday and then the humidity starts to become more noticeable Monday and Tuesday. The most uncomfortable days of the week will be Wednesday through Friday. Temperatures will stay in the 80s this week.

RAINFALL: A stalled front east of Route 219 could spark a shower or storm between 2-6 p.m. Monday in the Greenbrier Valley only. Any rain would last 15 minutes and be done. The next threat for rain is Wednesday through Friday from Beryl after it makes landfall Monday along the Texas Gulf Coast. Flooding is not expected, but the likely showers will chip away at the drought.
