An average of 1 inch of rain pelted our region since this morning and another 0.25″ is expected.
Dense fog is expected overnight within the very light showers. The fog will lift Friday morning and a breezy northwest wind will add a chill to the upper 40s. A few patches of fog are likely Saturday morning, and then finally, look up to the sky at 3 p.m., for bright spots!!
Widespread dense fog will limit visibility to under 0.50-mi by daybreak on Sunday. The sun will emerge after 9:30 a.m. and our temperatures will make leaps and strides into the 60s. The warming trend will continue through Tuesday before a progressively cooler pattern arrives.
Friday, November 22 to Tuesday, November 26 will bring temperatures down into the 40s for highs with lows in the 20s and 30s. One of these days will bring a few flurries, with 1-2 inches of snow for Snowshoe and western Pocahontas County.
A warming trend is likely to commence Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day and continue through the holiday weekend.
