Don Blankenship and Supreme Court set a date for ballot appeal

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY)- Ex-coal CEO Don Blankenship will go in front supreme court to express why should be allowed on ballot for the U.S. Senate race.

Blankenship ran in the Primary Election and lost to Patrick Morrisey.

Three months ago, Blankenship announced he would run in the November election for the constitution party, but the Secretary of state blocked it due to the “sore loser” law.

Blankenship will be meeting in front of the Supreme Court next Wednesday to express why he should be on the November ballot.
