Deputies Looking For Four People Who Went Missing Near A Mine In Raleigh County

CLEAR CREEK, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department are searching for four people who went missing near a mine.

According to the deputies, they were dispatched to a call on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at around 3 am in the Clear Creek area. An ATV was located outside a mine opening that is believed to be what the four were driving. It was sealed at one time.

The Mine Rescue team was on scene.

It’s unclear if the four missing went inside the mine and their condition.

The names of the four people are not being released at this time.
