RALEIGH COUNTY (WOAY) – If you have old prescription drugs you need to get rid of, the Beckley Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration have you covered.
Together they will host a drug takeback event at two locations on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 2 pm.
One will be at Kroger’s Pharmacy on Harper Road and the other at Sam’s Club Pharmacy on North Eisenhower Drive.
This is a free, anonymous event, so come by with your old prescriptions to help prevent pill abuse and theft. The DEA wants to remind everyone they can not take any liquids, needles, or sharps.
