Beckley, W.Va. — August 17, 2017 — Convoy of Hope will stop in Beckley on Saturday, August 19, at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center to provide a day of kindness for local residents.
WHAT: A free event offering $1 million in goods and services including groceries, veteran services, haircuts, family portraits, job services, a kids zone, a hot meal and more.
While supplies last — all are welcome. No I.D. required.
WHY: Provides an opportunity for more than 1,000 local community volunteers to share kindness and tangible help with thousands of their neighbors and move the city forward with a lasting positive impact.
WHO: The community of Beckley including numerous local businesses, organizations and churches.
WHEN: Saturday, August 19 – Gates open at 10 a.m. (rain or shine)
