Concord’s Bolte Named All-MEC First Team

WOAY – Concord junior guard Tommy Bolte was named Tuesday to the All-Mountain East First Team.

Bolte, a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, scored an average of 31.2 points per game for the Mountain Lions in the regular season, leading not just the conference but all of NCAA Division II. Last week against West Virginia State, Bolte matched the MEC single-game record with 49 points in the win over the Yellow Jackets. He tallied 12 30-point games, which makes him the conference’s sole record holder.

Concord opens MEC Tournament play Friday against Fairmont State at 2:15 PM in Charleston.
