Athens, WV (WOAY) – Concord football is back home Thursday for a matchup with UVa-Wise, with the Mountain Lions looking for their first win of 2017.
Concord leads the all-time series 5-3, but the Highland Cavaliers won 30-19 last year in Wise, Virginia. The Mountain Lions won the last two games in Athens.
Despite early season losses to West Virginia Wesleyan and Charleston, head coach Paul Price maintains a positive attitude, and believes Thursday will be a good test to see where the team is at.
