WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): As the snow starts to wane, the cold is here to stay for tomorrow. Roads will re-freeze, leading to some treacherous travel tonight into tomorrow. Meteorologist Christian Boteler focuses on the cold in his latest forecast:
After the snow ends tomorrow, skies will be partly sunny and will stay that way for most of the weekend. Temperatures will also be on the uptick, finally breaching above freezing once again on Saturday. Monday continues this streak of great weather, but clouds will build as the day goes on.
Tuesday is our next chance of rain, with the edge of the next system coming our way. A high pressure briefly comes through on Wednesday, giving us some nice weather again before Thursday, where rain is expected to fall and turn into snow later in the day due to a cold front.
