City Of Beckley Graduates Sixteen New Leaders

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The City of Beckley graduates 16 new leaders in the community to a joint leadership program sponsored by the Beckley-Raleigh Chamber Of Commerce.

The purpose of this program is to develop the leadership potential of selected individuals to prepare them for greater civic responsibility and involvement. It is also a way to provide a forum for future leaders to develop and connect in Raleigh County.

We’re told this one way of welcoming new leaders in volunteering.

“I’m active on the Chamber Ambassador Committee.  Recently, I have been elected to the board of Chamber and I felt like that in my position for my work it was great opportunity to learn more about helping in the community and be a better leader,” said Tiffany Kapp, Board Member

Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce are planning on holding another leadership program in 2018.
