ANSTED, WV (WOAY) — It’s beginning to look like Christmas in Ansted with the annual parade taking place tomorrow evening!
The parade will start at the East end of Ansted on Route 60 and will end at the historic Page Vawter House for a light display and festivities to celebrate the holiday season!
Festivities at the Page Vawter House will include carolers, a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and gifts from Santa. Trophies will also be awarded to the best floats in their categories!
“I just want everybody to come out. If you want to be in the parade and you have a float that you have used in some of the other local parades, bring it on out, you’re welcome. 4:15 is the lineup time. 5:00 is the parade start time. Santa Claus is coming,” said Jim Campbell, a volunteer for the Christmas Parade.
The event is free and open to the public and a great way to ring in the holiday spirit for kids and families of all ages. And, like Jim Campbell said…. Santa Claus is coming to Ansted!
