IEAGER, WV (WOAY) – A motorcycle accident has sent one child to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to dispatch, a call came in at around 1:30 pm of a motorcycle accident near Ieager. The child is around 16-years-old and suffered head trauma. The child has been airlifted to a local hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. It is unknown if the child had a helmet on.
McDowell County Sheriff’s Department, Jan-Care Ambulance and Ieager Fire Department Responded to the scene.
