Charleston Mayor Preparing To Retire

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY)- The longest serving Mayor of Charleston is preparing to retire as Mayor



Charleston Mayor Danny Jones, not only leads the Capital City of West Virginia but he also runs his own radio show.


Danny Jones is the host of “580 Live” which is a heard on Metro News and is an affiliate to WCHS.


Jones was first elected in 2003 and is the longest serving Mayor of Charleston as he served four terms according to WV Metro News.


Jones last term runs through January of 2019, and he plans to spend more time with his family and focus on his talk show.
