Chamber of Commerce hosts virtual auction

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce hosts a virtual auction on Facebook.

With just eight months on the job under her belt, chamber president Michelle Rotellini has had plenty of obstacles to face. The pandemic not only cancelled a major event for the chamber, but has caused local businesses to struggle as well. Rotellini hopes the auction will help aid both problems.

“Right now, more than ever, it’s so important to support our local businesses because that supports our local economy,” said Rotellini. “We really hope that everyone will jump online and see all of these businesses who have given their goods and services for the betterment of the community and that you will not only support the auction, but support those businesses when you’re out shopping.”

You can bid on a variety of items, ranging from free oil change coupons to trips to the beach. Visit the Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook event page to bid.
