LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – During a normal school year, Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg has a program in schools called Carnegie Classrooms.
With the upcoming school year set to look vastly different with far less in-person classes, Carnegie Hall is hoping to figure out other options for working with students. They are currently seeking applications for teaching artists interested in helping with arts workshops this fall.
“We’ve been working with the Greenbrier County Board of Education on possibly teaching the after-school programs,” said Carnegie Hall President/CEO Sara Crickenburger. “As you know, we’ve got this big, beautiful lawn. So we are trying to figure out if there’s a way we can make that work for us.”
More information on positions and opportunities can be found on Carnegie Hall’s Facebook page.
